|Description:||The employee at this level should be able to lead the project team on small projects under $500K in value with limited risk. This level is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a multiple projects simultaneously. Directs and supervises work of project engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, etc. This individual could also be a part of a larger project team supporting nthe team leader on project management duties and responsibilities. Thorough understanding of basic mechanical, plumbin, HVAC controls, fire protection, electrical, fire alarm, and security systems is required. The candidate should be able to lead the MEP coordination process, identify issues in the documents and resolve issues prior to construction. |
|Qualifications:||Strong, professional communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail and ability to effectively track complicated tasks involving many parties to timely completion. Proven track record of meeting deadlines. Multi-tasking is a must. Advanced understanding of preconstruction process, estimating, and buy-out. Effective management of client relationships. Ability to identify customerís needs intuitively. Experience managing 1-2 direct reports. |
Bachelorís Degree; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred. In lieu of an engineering degree, extensive field experience in the MEP trades will be considered. 5-8 years of commercial construction experience. Experience working in mission critical, data center environments is a plus.
